My Story

I am Shae O'Hara, formerly known as Shae Marshall. In Highschool I took the only Photography class the school offered, my passion to be a photographer skyrocketed when I had my senior photos done by an amazing photographer. I have always "played" with a small digital camera from the pawn shop, sending her my photos to get critiqued. At the age of 22, I met my past finance, who pushed me to pursue my dreams, purchasing me my first DSL Nikon Rebel Camera for Christmas. After an unexpected incident, that led to his passing, I knew what I needed to do. I set out looking for a photography school, upgraded to the best equipment, so I could give my clients the best quality. I attended NY Institute of Photography for 4 years where I got Certified as a Professional Photographer & a Professional Portrait Photographer. I have a love for horses and am a Certified Equine Specialist & Trainer, I decided to put my Certifications together and started shooting Equine Events from Jumping, Barrel Racing, Dressage, Cow Work, Trail, Extreme Cowboy Races, and so on. I decided on top of doing Equine Events I wanted to do some Equine Portraiture, taking photos of Sale Horses, Marketing Photos, and event 4H photos and Senior Photos. In 2020, I then met my husband (as of September 1, 2024) who has helped me through many hard times and many sessions of "wanting to give up the photography". We live a busy life with our 3 dogs and many horses on our family's 100-acre farm. My parents, Grandmother, and my Husband are who encourage me every day to continue on getting the "Perfect Shot".
